Hands-on Organic Farming & Gardening

​Farming is universal.   No matter which part of the globe one happens to visit it goes without saying that people love fresh produce.  So why not use the gift of a green thumb to satisfy someone's hunger while also leading them to Jesus?  This is precisely the goal of the Organic Farming & Gardening Apprenticeship program.  Not only with you be well-versed in "e-veg-ilism", but you will also learn the skills necessary to successfully provide for your family in the process.  

As you can see, the one-year apprenticeship in organic farming & gardening is as multi-faceted in its approach as the farm is in its organization.  You will learn that it's not just about the physical crop lying in the soil but also the spiritual crop lying in the soil of people's hearts...including yours! 

If you have a fascination with farm equipment then you will definitely appreciate the opportunity to learn more about the equipment we use on our farm.  Not only that, working in a greenhouse will expose you to various methods for maximizing your crop.

Providing hay to those who own livestock is another valuable way of meeting the people.  During the hay season you will learn what takes to make the most out of your hay fields.
