Ministering Around The Globe
Country Life Mission | Dominican Republic
Country Life Mission is hard at work answering God’s call and relying on Him for guidance and strength. The mission has been solely based out of the capital, Santo Domingo, until recently. A transition has been made back to their country property, while keeping the store front, warehouse, and a Bible worker in Santo Domingo. The restoration process for the property has been progressing thanks to God’s leading and help from volunteers. The LIGHT (Lay Institute for Global Health Training) educational training program is teaching one month courses in areas accessible to the large population center of Santo Domingo. This is then followed up by a six month program on the country campus. God has been blessing Country Life Mission, yet the work could not be advanced with out your prayers and financial support. Thank you for partnering with the Country Life Mission in the work to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the Dominican Republic. For more information, click here. Eden Valley Foster Care Mission | Tanzania
The mission in Tanzania is continuing to take challenges head on. A couple of recent major obstacles were getting electricity to the school and petitioning against a proposed dam that would put the school underwater. Your continued prayers and support as the mission moves forward through these challenges are much appreciated. The school is doing well, and the carpentry students are producing beautiful furniture. Currently, the opening of a small shop where the students could sell their goods is being considered. Also, there will be a transfer of management in the coming months as the Lord has seen fit to bring Elisha and Nadege Vande Voort to take over managing the project. Many thanks to everyone who helps make this project possible. It is through your generosity that the mission is able to keep kids off the street and let them know there is a Savior who loves them. Springs of Life Foundation | Poland
The vision at Springs of Life is to relieve sickness and suffering so that anyone can be fit for life and avoid disease. Springs of Life has been experiencing great success with their NEWSTART health program. They have able to secure a building for rent a couple miles from their main property and plan to use it for the NEWSTART program. This will free them from having to build a new building, so they can focus on the program. Praise God for his leading and opening of doors in Poland. Currently, they are seeking funds for marketing and developing a new website. Thank you for keeping them in your prayers. For more information, click here. Follow them on Facebook. |

Tarahumara Indians | Creel, Mexico
The area around this mission outpost has become increasingly more dangerous in the last couple years due to the influx of drug cartel, yet the work of the Lord still carries on through it all. Nine churches have be established and there continues to be a need for more churches in the area. Last summer, a VBS (Vacation Bible School) program was run for the children in three of the churches. This year, in April, there was a health clinic where four doctors from the Adventist University Hospital of La Carlota de Montemorelos came to donate their time and skills. In addition to ministering to their physical ailments, many were ministered to spiritually. None of this could have taken place without your generosity. Please continue to keep the work in Mexico in your prays. Thank you for the continued support. |
