Students will spend their time in various classes learning theory, practice, and working in different areas on our campus as time and program needs allow (Farm, Lifestyle Center, Country Store, Maintenance, etc.). Work provision will provide an opportunity to observe and learn valuable practical skills that may be applied anywhere they go after graduation.
The course provides an equal amount of classwork on evangelism and natural remedies. Our program offers a comprehensive sampling of courses that give the student a taste of the various components of medical missionary work.
Eden Valley is a non-profit organization, and the staff is composed 100% by volunteers, so the Medical Missionary Evangelism Program depends on the student’s tuition to keep the program running. Currently, we cannot offer scholarships, but we encourage applicants who cannot afford the program to find sponsors in their local church to help them with the tuition costs.

- Individuals desiring to serve the Lord as Medical Missionaries are invited to apply.
- The applicant should: Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a basic understanding of the English language.
- Have a serious interest in practical medical missionary work.
The cost of our 6 month course is $5,400. This includes tuition, room and board, vegan meals, and all classroom materials. There is a non-refundable application fee of $50. Upon acceptance to the program, a $500 deposit must be made by check or credit card, and the balance must be paid before arrival.

This course teaches how to overcome any fears about sharing your faith, how to find people who are ready to join the church, and how to present the Adventist message in an engaging, relevant way.
Through this textual study of the book “The Ministry of Healing” you will study the life of the great Physician as He mingled among men. Learn His methods of soul winning and how He set the example of using health reform as the right arm of the gospel to reach all classes of people.
This course is a careful study of the prophetic books of Daniel & Revelation. This class explores the prophecies that relate to current and soon coming events, and draws out lessons that will help us to be ready for the final days of history.
This course lays out Biblical reasons why we can only be saved by grace through faith that doesn’t come of ourselves, but as a gift of God. It emphasizes the role of the sanctuary message in understanding prophecy and God’s character.
This course is an overview of diseases that are prevalent in society today, their causes, as well as what cures and prevention may be realized by the use of God’s methods and principles of lifestyle.
This course is a physiological and practical approach to the understanding of the treatment and prevention of illness through the use of water.
This course introduces you to the major organ systems of the human body, how they function, and how to optimize keeping those organs free from disease, and working to their best potential.
This is a practical course that will help you learn how to prepare your church and community to organize monthly outreach activities such as: health fairs, cooking schools, health seminars, natural remedies classes, etc. These monthly events will help your church to build up relationships with your community and serve as "the right arm of the gospel".
Gain insight into the use of natural herbs as preventatives and cures for various ailments, from the common cold to serious disorders. Learn how to prepare tinctures, ointments, and poultices with powerful healing agents. Learn about essential oils and their application.
As Christ walked the earth many were healed by his touch. Even today many are needing that connection with someone that genuinely cares. In this course, the art of therapeutic touch (massage) and its positive effect on the body will be experienced. Each individual will be taught how to conduct a basic Swedish massage and basic chair massage.
This course is a study of the functions of protein, carbohydrates, and the major vitamins and minerals needed for a healthful and prosperous life.
This is a hands-on course in which students gain experience under the guidance of experienced farmers. Learn how to plant, nurture, cultivate, and harvest various common plants.
Learn about proper food combinations, menu planning, vegan cooking, and the presentation of these to the public.
Students will see the importance of meeting the physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs of their church and community and how it is connected to evangelism. They will learn how to create a health evangelism cycle in their church. They will also learn the fundamentals of wellness coaching and how to use it as an effective tool to build relationships and lead people to Christ.
The objective of this course is to obtain total sufficiency in Christ for mental and emotional healing in the personal life, and influence others to do the same. This course teaches how to replace lies of the devil with positive, healing thoughts based on God’s Word.
