Main Responsibilities
  • Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store​
  • Working with cash registers and processing payments
  • Giving customers advice about sales and promotions
  • Using up-selling techniques to increase store sales
  • Recommending the best products to customers
  • Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing

Education Department Kitchen Manager/Head Cook

Qualifications
Passionate about food and sharing delicious plant-based foods with others. 
The Kitchen Manager is in charge of the overall operations for the kitchen area of the Village Kitchen for the six-month Medical Missionary training program. The goal of the kitchen manager is to ensure the kitchen department runs smoothly and complies with safety regulations. Duties include ordering food, preparing menus, preparing meals, monitoring students and coordinating with the Education Department director.

Main Responsibilities
  • Administering daily hydrotherapy treatments to health guests
  • Administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments to health guests
  • Preparing poultices prescribed for health guests
  • Preparing supplements and teas prescribed for health guests 
  • Praying with and walking with health guests
  • Serving evening broth for health guests 
  • May be asked to assist in cooking school classes
  • Cleaning treatment areas, spaces, and bathrooms
  • Cleaning the lifestyle spaces and preparing for the next program
 Lifestyle Kitchen Staff

The ideal candidate for Lifestyle Kitchen work loves to serve and sees meal preparation as an art and a ministry. You should have a genuine love to cook and feed people with the end goal of healing and health restoration.

Volunteer worker: Eden Valley normally considers an intern for volunteer worker status after the completion of the internship program. Once accepted, volunteer workers may be eligible to receive a monthly stipend.
